Momi Africa Inter-Generational Dialogues, IGDs

in Nigeria and South Africa

From 1st of May to 7th of August 2018, Momi Africa held a series of Inter-Generational Dialogues (IGDs) in Nigeria and South Africa with the support of Mastercard Foundation. The IGDs took place in Lagos, Owerri and Yola in Nigeria, and in South Africa, they were held in Bridgetown and Athlone.

The dialogues brought youth and senior citizens together for identification of concerns and common grounds for cooperation and partnership. It also provided a fertile ground for building bridges of understanding, friendship and communal peace. Most importantly, it enabled Momi Africa and the target groups to delineate roles and work out modalities for actual field work with respect to Youth Entrepreneurship in Service to Seniors and Society (YESSS) Program of Momi Africa in both countries.

The project was implemented in collaboration with Rlabs, South Africa.
